Carissimi fratelli e sorelle,
Benvenuti nella nostra terra!
Tra il mare ed i colli, tra l’orizzonte aperto dell’acqua ed il silenzio delle alture, questo territorio si offre a voi non soltanto come meta di riposo, ma come luogo che parla.
Parla attraverso la sua storia, custodita nelle pietre, nelle chiese, nelle calli e nei campanili; parla attraverso l’arte, che non è solo bellezza da ammirare, ma porta che introduce al mistero, spiraglio attraverso cui Dio continua a lasciarsi intravedere.
Anche qui la bellezza non è mai fine a sé stessa: è un segno discreto ma reale di una Presenza che accompagna il cammino dell’uomo, ieri come oggi.
Questa terra non è fatta solo di paesaggi ed monumenti. È fatta soprattutto di volti.
Volti di persone che l’abitano, la custodiscono, la rendono viva; ed ora, anche dei vostri volti, che per un tempo più o meno lungo diventano parte di questa storia.
È una terra, inoltre, segnata dall’incontro di lingue ed culture diverse: una ricchezza che non appartiene solo al passato, ma che continua a generare dialogo, apertura ed umanità anche per l’oggi.
L’incontro tra chi arriva e chi accoglie non è un dettaglio: è il cuore dell’esperienza.
Non siamo mondi separati, ma possibilità di relazione; non semplici presenze che si sfiorano, ma uomini e donne chiamati a riconoscersi.
Il tempo della vacanza può diventare qualcosa di più: non solo pausa, ma occasione per ritrovare sé stessi, per riscoprire ciò che conta davvero, per aprirsi ad incontri veri, capaci di lasciare un segno.
Anche il cammino della nostra Chiesa, segnato da passaggi importanti come l’esperienza straordinaria di “GO! 2025 – Capitale europea della cultura Nova Gorica-Gorizia 2025”, ci invita a guardare avanti con fiducia: come Comunità chiamata ad essere sempre più casa, sempre più segno, sempre più testimonianza in un mondo segnato dalle guerre e dagli individualismi.
A voi, che siete qui per qualche giorno o per un tempo più lungo, giunga il nostro saluto cordiale: benvenuti tra noi.
Benvenuti non come ospiti, ma come fratelli ed sorelle.
Questo tempo possa diventare per ciascuno un tratto di strada bello, vero, ed anche, se lo vorrete, un piccolo passo dentro una nuova avventura del cuore.

Solennità della Pentecoste
Liebe Brüder und Schwestern,
herzlich willkommen in unserer Heimat!
Zwischen dem Meer und den Hügeln, zwischen dem weiten Horizont des Wassers und der Stille der Höhen bietet sich euch dieses Land nicht nur als Ort der Erholung an, sondern als ein Ort, der zu euch spricht.
Es spricht durch seine Geschichte, die in den Steinen, in den Kirchen, in den Gassen und in den Glockentürmen bewahrt ist; es spricht durch die Kunst, die nicht nur Schönheit zum Bewundern ist, sondern ein Tor, das in das Geheimnis einführt, ein Spalt, durch den Gott sich weiterhin erblicken lässt.
Auch hier ist Schönheit niemals Selbstzweck: Sie ist ein diskretes, aber reales Zeichen einer Gegenwart, die den Weg des Menschen begleitet, gestern wie heute.
Dieses Land besteht nicht nur aus Landschaften und Denkmälern. Es besteht vor allem aus Gesichtern. Gesichtern von Menschen, die es bewohnen, bewahren und lebendig machen; und nun auch aus euren Gesichtern, die für eine mehr oder weniger lange Zeit Teil dieser Geschichte werden.
Es ist zudem ein Land, das von der Begegnung verschiedener Sprachen und Kulturen geprägt ist: ein Reichtum, der nicht nur der Vergangenheit angehört, sondern auch heute noch Dialog, Offenheit und Menschlichkeit hervorbringt.
Die Begegnung zwischen dem Ankommenden und dem Empfangenden ist kein Nebengedanke: Sie ist das Herzstück der Erfahrung. Wir sind keine getrennten Welten, sondern Möglichkeiten der Beziehung; keine bloßen Anwesenheiten, die sich nur flüchtig berühren, sondern Männer und Frauen, die dazu berufen sind, einander anzuerkennen.
Die Zeit des Urlaubs kann zu etwas mehr werden: nicht nur eine Pause, sondern eine Gelegenheit, zu sich selbst zu finden, wiederzuentdecken, was wirklich zählt, und sich für echte Begegnungen zu öffnen, die Spuren hinterlassen können.
Auch der Weg unserer Kirche, geprägt von wichtigen Meilensteinen wie der außergewöhnlichen Erfahrung von „GO! 2025 – Kulturhauptstadt Europas Nova Gorica-Gorizia 2025“, lädt uns ein, mit Zuversicht nach vorne zu blicken: als Gemeinschaft, die dazu berufen ist, immer mehr ein Zuhause, immer mehr ein Zeichen, immer mehr ein Zeugnis in einer Welt zu sein, die von Kriegen und Individualismus geprägt ist.
An euch, die ihr für ein paar Tage oder für eine längere Zeit hier seid, richtet sich unser herzlicher Gruß: Seid willkommen unter uns.
Willkommen nicht als Gäste, sondern als Brüder und Schwestern.
Möge diese Zeit für jeden von euch ein schöner, wahrer Abschnitt des Weges werden und, wenn ihr es wollt, auch ein kleiner Schritt in ein neues Abenteuer des Herzens.

Dearest brothers and sisters,
Welcome to our land!
Between the sea and the rolling hills, between the open horizon of the waters and the silence of the heights, this territory offers itself to you not merely as a destination for rest, but as a place that speaks.
It speaks through its history, etched in the stones, the churches, the narrow alleys, and the bell towers; it speaks through art, which is not only beauty to be admired, but a doorway leading into mystery—a rift through which God continues to allow a glimpse of Himself.
Here, too, beauty is never an end in itself: it is a discreet yet tangible sign of a Presence that accompanies the journey of humanity, yesterday as today.
This land is not made only of landscapes and monuments. It is made, above all, of faces.
The faces of those who inhabit it, who tend to it, and who make it come alive; and now, your faces too, which for a time—be it brief or long—become part of this story.
It is, moreover, a land marked by the meeting of different languages and cultures: a richness that belongs not only to the past, but one that continues to generate dialogue, openness, and humanity for the present day.
The encounter between those who arrive and those who welcome is not a mere detail: it is the heart of the experience. We are not separate worlds, but possibilities for connection; not merely presences brushing past one another, but men and women called to recognize each other.

Even the journey of our Church, marked by significant milestones such as the extraordinary experience of “GO! 2025 – Nova Gorica-Gorizia European Capital of Culture 2025,” invites us to look ahead with confidence: as a Community called to be ever more a home, ever more a sign, ever more a witness in a world scarred by war and individualism.
To you, who are here for a few days or for a longer stay, we extend our warmest greetings: welcome among us.
Welcome not as guests, but as brothers and sisters.

Dragi bratje in sestre,
dobrodošli v naši deželi!
Med morjem in hribi, med odprtim obzorjem vode in tišino višav se vam ta dežela razkriva ne le kot kraj počitka, ampak kot kraj, ki govori.
Govori skozi svojo zgodovino, ohranjeno v kamnih, cerkvah, ulicah in zvonikih; govori skozi svojo umetnost, ki ni le lepota, ki jo je treba občudovati, ampak vrata, ki vodijo v skrivnost, pogled, skozi katerega se Bog še naprej razodeva.
Tudi tu lepota nikoli ni sama sebi namen: je diskretno, a resnično znamenje Prisotnosti, ki hodi s človeštvom po njegovi poti, včeraj kot danes.
Ta dežela ni sestavljena le iz pokrajin in spomenikov. Sestavljena je predvsem iz obrazov. Obrazov ljudi, ki v njej živijo, zanjo skrbijo in jo ohranjajo pri življenju; zdaj tudi iz vaših obrazov, ki za krajši ali daljši čas postanejo del te zgodbe.
Je tudi dežela, ki jo oblikuje srečanje različnih jezikov in kultur: bogastvo, ki ne pripada le preteklosti, ampak še danes ustvarja dialog, odprtost in človečnost.
Srečanje med tistimi, ki prihajajo, in tistimi, ki sprejemajo ni podrobnost: je srce izkušnje.
Nismo ločeni svetovi, ampak priložnost za odnose; nismo le prisotnosti, ki se med seboj bežno srečajo, ampak moški in ženske, poklicani, da prepoznajo drug drugega.
Čas počitnic lahko postane nekaj več: ne le premor, ampak priložnost, da ponovno spoznamo sebe, da ponovno odkrijemo, kaj je resnično pomembno in da prepustimo pristnim srečanjem, ki lahko pustijo sled.
Tudi pot naše Cerkve, zaznamovana z pomembnimi trenutki, kot je izjemna izkušnja »GO! 2025 – Evropska prestolnica kulture Nova Gorica–Gorizia 2025«, nas vabi, da z zaupanjem zremo v prihodnost: kot skupnost, ki je poklicana, da je vedno bolj dom, vedno bolj znamenje, vedno bolj priča v svetu, zaznamovanem z vojnami in individualizmom.
Vam, ki ste tu za nekaj dni ali za daljše bivanje, izrekamo iskren pozdrav: dobrodošli med nami.
Dobrodošli ne kot gostje, ampak kot bratje in sestre.
Naj bo ta čas za vsakega od vas lep in pristni del vaše poti, pa tudi, če želite, majhen korak v novo pustolovščino srca.
